Description
OASE Aquamax pumps can reliably feed waterwalls, watercourses or transport pond water to biological filters. For the more environmentally conscious consumer or just one wishing to save on power consumption costs, the OASE Aquamax ECO Premium pump sets new standards with energy savings of up to a further 30% over Oase's already low power consumption pumps.
Features
- German Technology.
- Outstanding energy balance: Reliable displacement using even less energy.
- Flow optimised impellor guarantees maximum pump capacity and therefore improved displacement of coarse particles.
- The large strainer surface allows debris like plants or koi waste up to 10mm to pass through.
- Ideal for adjusting skimmer for surface debris or satellite filter (optional extra's) for drawing water from other areas of the pond.
- The pump will not be damaged at temperatures as low as –20 °C.
- Environmental Function Control (EFC) protects against dry run and blocking.
- For Aquamax Eco Premium 12000 and 16000. With the SFC function switched on, the pump automatically optimises and redures flow rate and delivery head by up to 50%
- Includes a special stepped hose adapter with the sizes 1", 1¼", and 1½", 2".

The dual inlets in the OASE AquaMax Eco Premium 12000 pump serve several important purposes, enhancing the pump's versatility and efficiency:
-
Increased Intake Capacity: Dual inlets allow for water to be drawn from two different sources or locations, increasing the pump's overall intake capacity. This can be particularly beneficial for larger ponds or systems that require higher flow rates.
-
Skimmer Integration: One of the inlets can be connected to a surface skimmer, which helps remove debris, leaves, and other floating materials from the water's surface. This keeps the pond cleaner and reduces maintenance efforts.
-
Optimal Water Circulation: By drawing water from multiple areas, dual inlets can help improve water circulation throughout the pond. This enhances oxygen distribution, promoting a healthier ecosystem for fish and plants.
-
Flexible Installation Options: The ability to connect dual inlets provides more flexibility in installation, allowing the pump to be set up in ways that best suit the specific pond layout and desired water flow patterns.
-
Enhanced Filtration: Utilizing both inlets can improve the efficiency of the filtration system by distributing the intake over a larger area, thus preventing clogs and enhancing overall water quality.
These benefits make dual inlets a valuable feature for maintaining clean, well-circulated pond water while supporting efficient pump operation.
The "Season" on and off switch on the OASE AquaMax Eco Premium pump is designed to optimize the pump's performance for different seasonal conditions:
-
Season Off (Winter Mode):
- During colder months, when less biological activity occurs in ponds, the winter mode reduces energy consumption by lowering the flow rate.
- This setting helps protect the pump and reduces the energy demand when not much water circulation is needed.
-
Season On (Summer Mode):
- In warmer months, ponds typically require increased water circulation to support higher biological activity, such as fish and plant growth.
- This mode ensures full operational capacity, delivering higher flow rates to meet the demands of aeration and filtration during peak periods.
The seasonal switch allows the pump to adapt to changes throughout the year, providing efficient performance and aiding in maintaining a balanced pond ecosystem. This feature emphasizes both energy efficiency and functional adaptability based on seasonal needs.
